CAA Signs 5-Year TV Deal For Football, Basketball

The Colonial Athletic Association and NBC Sports Group have agreed to a 5-year television contract that the league says will give it more television exposure than ever in football and men's basketball.

The deal goes into effect for the 2012-13 season and CAA commissioner Tom Yeager says will work in conjunction with the league's ongoing relationship with Comcast SportsNet, which is part of the NBC Sports Network.

In all, the NBC Sports Network will provide national coverage of five CAA football games and a minimum of 12 CAA's men's basketball games, including the conference semifinals and championship games. Comcast will televise 13 football games and 39 men's and women's basketball games, including the quarterfinals of the men's tournament and the semifinals and championship of the women's tournament.
